Public Adjusters in Ohio
Ohio public adjusters help homeowners and businesses with property damage claims from severe thunderstorms, hail, tornadoes, winter storms, ice damage, and water losses across Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati, and the rest of the state. Public adjusters must hold an Ohio Department of Insurance certificate of authority, pass a written exam, and post a $1,000 surety bond. Ohio does not impose a statutory percentage cap on public adjuster fees and does not require continuing education for adjuster renewals.
